02/27/07. Terrific Tuesday VRB Games. Daley’s Corner, Moore Lake LTF. 1900-2130.

Moore LTF was packed as usual on a Tuesday night, full of recreational doubles players and V’s groupies.

The current reigning GT King Doc MM was late because his princess Mei wanted to come run around the track for three miles and then watch the VRB games festivities.

Current Reigning GT King Doc MM did not disappoint his royal highness Mei with a racquetball tour de force of ballistic drives to defeat the up and coming new rooky Tim "Cat Fisherman" Righy in three straight. Yes, TR gave Doc MM some competition in each game, but when it was show time and when it counted most, Doc MM’s drives kicked into the stratosphere gears to win it all for the GT King! For example in game number one, with the score tied at 9-9, Doc MM unleashed two monstrous drive aces to win 11-9, which prompted one peanut gallery and V’s A-doubles partner to say later on in the night, "Wow, that was nasty!"

The journeyman champ Joel Warrior’s "nasty" Z-lobs were working their usual evil magic and forcing his opponents to hit back defensive returns. However, big JW was unable to do much with the third shot opportunities or force his own third shot and he lost to the rooky three times and Doc MM defeated the journeyman champ JW 11-4 and 11-9. In the second game, V’s peanut gallery came out in full regalia to watch. V came in at one point to trash talk Doc MM with JW? Doc MM didn’t hear what she said because GT King Doc MM was so focus on his game and does not like to get into peanut gallery politics. Haha.

Sidenotes: 1. Fernando Righty showed up and wanted a game, but Doc MM declined, 2. The rooky Uma Rigthty’s out due to some vegetarian concerns about not eating enough protein and his body is hurting and now craving meat for sustenance, 3. No Fireball Mark for another day, 4. The rooky Justin Larson’s nowhere to be seen, and 5. Big Dan Lefty, former GT King’s busy playing another round of golf in Florida, lucky bastard….And of course, we haven’t seen the old man athletic 19th Wonder of the Racquetball world, Mr. John Wilinski in eons?

Doc MM would like to profusely thank big JW for teaching Mei his phrase, "If you say so…" Thanks for nothing Joel! You are an evil evil man! (Seinfeld unquote).
