03/22/07. Terrific Thursday VRB Games. Jessica Knowles Coliseum, Moore Lake LTF. 1900-2130.

There is nothing like Terrific Thursday VRB Games at Moore Lake LTF on a nice cool Spring night! A crescent moon outside.

In Doc MM’s first joust with the GT King Big Dan Lefty tonight, it was a see saw battles of missile deep passes and incredible speedy gets and re-rips for an early armistice of 3-3 and 5-5. However, Big DL poked three skippies and Doc MM used a combination of deep lobs and deep rockets into the abysses to open up a 10-5 and 11-6 lead. Doc MM’s return game was also up to the task and Doc MM stuck Big DL deep with deep high percentage passing shots. Doc MM 15, Big DL 6.

In their second game, the two racquetball warriors hammered deep low missile passes to run each other into the ground. When the VRB fans finished their first corndogs, they looked up at the large scoreboard and it reads, "Big DL 7, Doc MM 8." Yep, we got a wild and wooly game on our hands VRB folks. Doc MM continued to work the down the lines and finished front court setups to open a lead of 12-7. Big DL had one more offensive hurrah with a ballistic backhand rip into the right abyss to cut the lead to 8-12. However, Doc MM picked clean two low ceiling backwall setups to go up 14-8. Doc MM served and shoots to win 15-8 to reclaims the GT! Long live the new GT King Doc MM! Doc MM 15, Big DL 8.

VRB fans: Long live the New GT King Doc MM!!
