Forehand lacks power: Remember to change grip, contact
the ball further out in front of you, approximately in line with you
big toe, and have a big backswing and complete follow through.
There is not enough time to hit. Can’t get to the ball in time
to gain balance and make a good shot: Anticipate direction and
depth of ball as it travels to the front wall. Don’t wait until it
bounces off the front wall. Move quickly into position.
The ball goes downward and hits the ball floor before it gets
to the front wall: Check your grip, hit the ball flat and level,
follow through completely, and also make sure that you are
transferring your weigh forward with all your shots.
The ball goes too far left or right of the intended target:
Make sure you are contacting the ball near your hip, this keeps the
racquet square.
Generally lacks control on shots: Check grip, Get into
position earlier, Stroke the ball under control, don’t hit it too
hard. Be more conscious of your position relative to the ball. Keep
your eyes focused on the ball. Improvement will come with practice.
