Error: The act of unsuccessfully returning a ball during play.

Exchange: The rally, the playing of alternating shots.
Face: The hitting surface of the racquet, the plane formed by the
racquet strings.
Fault: An illegal serve hitting the ceiling, backwall, or two
sidewalls before the floor, or failing to carry over the short line.
Fish: label given to any person that can be easily score upon
and/or beaten; an easy racquetball victim.
Five Foot Line: The short, red line on the floor or sidewall five
feet behind the short line of the service box. Also called the
restraining line.
Flail: Slang term for putting your entire body into your shot.
Floating Center: Theory of shot coverage developed by Bloomfield and
Strandemo to cover over 90% of shots that will carom through a floating
center dependent on opponent’s position.
Fly Shot: A shot hit before the bounce, also see cut off shot and
volley.
Follow Through: The continuation of the swing after the ball has been
contacted. It lends control and direction to the shot.
Foot Fault: An illegal position of the server’s feet during the
serve.
Footwork: The act of moving the feet in coordination with the body to
a position to hit the ball in an efficient manner.
Forehand: The stroke hit on the same side as the shooting arm.
Freak Ball: When the ball takes an unexpected carom off the walls.
Front and Back Formation: See I-Formation.
Front Court: Area in front of the service line.
Front wall-Sidewall Kill Shot: A kill shot that hits the front wall
first and then the sidewall. Also called a reverse pinch shot.
