Drives: We suggest that you
use more of a semi-erect stance for starter and work your way down the
low height drive service stance of the pros. This will limits legs
fatigue and allows you to work more on the all important service drop
and rhythm.
Z-Drives: Drop just
a smidgen farther than the cross court drive and work on hitting a
tighter target on the front wall near the front wall/sidewall juncture
for the ball to carry deep and caroms off the sidewall deep.
General Service: Eyes on the
ball, maintain an air of relaxed focus, take your time in the service
box, visualize the entire service, and be confident in your entire
service from the drop to the follow through to the relocation.
Backwall Ceiling Setups:
Very important to get quickly into position behind the ball and reading
where the ball/backwall contact point will occur and follow through with
maximum extension, confidence, and striding towards the front wall low
and level.
Cross Court Pass: Be as
confident as your down the line and follow through completely and
relocate using your forward momentum.
