Back Foot

The Proper Planting and Rotation and Forward Push of the Back Foot facilitate four positive factors to hitting an excellent racquetball stroke.

  1. Provides a stable base for you to use to hit consistent and powerful racquetball shots without resorting to arming the ball. You are utilizing your larger and more powerful lower body, like your legs and hips!

  2. The rotation of the back foot as the starting point of every stroke promotes a more level swing.

  3. Provides for crisp timing on every one of your racquetball stroke.

  4. Helps to transfer the chain of power sources from the lower body to the upper body and culminating with the powerful wrist snap and an overall excellent flat high percentage racquetball shot!

So, go out onto the court solo or with a racquetball practice partner and play some games. You will realize that the Back Foot is key to a superb and fundamentally correct racquetball stroke!

….And Oh, the Back Foot also limits and prevent many upper body injuries. It promotes a smooth and efficient racquetball stroke from the ground up! Another hidden plus of properly using the Back Foot Key to your overall Racquetball Game Improvement and Mastery!
