Service Return Strategy
- Adhere to racquetball fundamentals and stay level on your return.
Avoid up and down motion. A level return posture and footwork will
help with your overall consistency and accuracy.
- Anticipate, but Do Not Commit. Read, Anticipate, and React!
- Take a comfortable position - about one racquet length from the
backwall. Adjust slightly forward for low drives if needed.
- Hold your racquet in a backhand grip, because most serves will
come to your backhand.
- Be aware of the opponent’s service patterns and tendencies and
adjust return position accordingly.
