Attacking Defense
Down & Ready !
An Attacking Defense is Always Down and Ready and
Prepared for Anything!
After you hit your shot, get back behind the dotted
line, and farther back depending on how your shot depth, and be Down
and Ready and Prepared for Anything!
Try to keep your body relaxed, bent knees, backhand
grip, carry the racquet around waist level in the midline of your body
(this allows you to get the racquet into the hitting position), and
turned at a 45 degree angle to watch your opponent.
If he is going low zone, widen your base slightly as
you turn to the frontwall and keep knees bent.
Remain in a low flexible
stable position so that you can move fluidly to track down a shot.
