Court Awareness
All of the IRT pros have tremendous Court Awareness.
This means that they know where they are at on the court at all times
and where their opponents are at as well.
Remember the walls do not move.
So the IRT pros use their court awareness to gauge
their position and quickly pick the highest percentage shots to take at
their particular position.
How do you develop Court Awareness? By playing a lot
of games and gaining experience and also going onto a court solo and
working on different shots from different positions to get a feel of
what each shot feel like from a certain area of the court.

Intuition Factor (or
properly using your intuitive senses)
When you are returning serve, you must rely heavily on
the Intuition Factor because the server has most of the advantages. He
knows where he’s going to hit the ball (maybe except for the State
Champ…hahaha). He knows how hard he is going to hit the ball and when he
relocates, he is in prime court position to cover your returns.
So as a returner against a good server, you must use
your Intuition Senses to Feel and make an educated guess on where
the ball will ends up and just go for it!!
Believe it or not, the Intuition Factor is correct 80%
of the time when used with total confidence! A key ingredient of this
Intangible is having supreme confidence in your own abilities and
knowing that your opponent is human! So get to everything and make them
roll it out to beat you!
