Momentum

Scenario #1: Your opponent comes out of the gate in game 1 blasting everything in sight and just cleaning your clock. The score is 8-2 already! Momentum smiles and pats your opponent on the back. It sneers at you menacingly out of the corners of jaws.

How to Win Momentum’s allegiance in this situation: Tell yourself that everything’s okay, that your opponent’s offensive run will slow down eventually, but you will help him along by raising your racquets between every rallies and slowing down the pace to a glacial speed. In this way, your opponent’s rhythm will be disrupted somewhat and Momentum may get impatient and changed it's scaly allegiance to increase your winning chances in this game.

Scenario #2: After your opponent skip a shot, his plays start to slips a bit and he leaves a few more setups than usual.

If you notice that your opponent gets frustrated after a skip or miss and his plays start to deteriorates slightly, this is the time to shower the Momentum Dragon with treasure or if you are really behind, fair maidens. Realistically, try to quickening the pace. This is the time you want to start to increase the pace of the game and score in bundles.
