Backwall play
Playing the ball off the backwall
is an essential skill in being
successful and improving rapidly in racquetball. If you are not able to
hit high percentage offensive shots off the backwall, you will never
improve beyond the intermediate level.
The amateur racquetballer needs
to realize that backwall plays is the very definition of racquetball and
to diligently practice this key aspect of the game for faster
improvement in this great game of ours and to increase their victories
and thus, increase their enjoyment ratios versus their hapless backwall
phobic opponents!

The Backwall is Our Friend!
Repeat several times for good effects!
When playing the ball off the backwall, it is pertinent to remember to
not camp out and expect the ball to land exactly perfectly in your power
zone. More often than not, if you camp out, the ball will be too behind
you and you will end up adjusting your swing and scooping the ball,
resulting in a low percentage and weak shot.
So, stop camping out, take down
the tent, camp gears, and no more roasting marshmallows over a hot
campfire, and use the five tips below to take your racquetball to a
whole new level of backwall artistry!
