Backwall play
1.
Use your hand or racquet, depending the stroke you are taking, to
feel for the backwall and get a bearing on your relative court
positioning. This will also help you measure out your position relative
to the ball, stride into the shot, and promote a more powerful maximum
extension into the ball.
2. Move in and move out with the ball.
3. Once you get into position near the backwall and waiting for the ball
to come off of the backwall, then Shuffle, Do Not Cross your feet.
4. Run in & Shuffle out. Many amateur make the mistake of taking small
shuffling steps and never get into position to play the ball off the backwall.
5. McClayson would scream out loud, "Don't Camp Out, and Wait for the
Ball, Move! Move! Move your feet and get into position quickly and take
advantage of this opportunity to go offensive and win the rally."
