What to do with your free
hand?
Most players don’t know what to do with their free hand or non-racquet
holding arm during a stroke.
Some players leave it hanging like a dead chicken.
Other players have tried to hide it in their pockets.
We must understand that an efficient and powerful racquetball
stroke is a culmination of all body parts, including the free non-racquet
holding arm.
In adherence to correct racquetball fundamentals, we must
practice tucking in the free arm against our body (not in our pockets folks!)
and swinging it through with the complete follow through.
The free arm contributes to the momentum without impeding the
overall stroke. This follows basic physics.
