Myths
Myth: The lefty’s forehand
will just be too powerful; throw in the white towel before you make a
fool of yourself.
Reality:
Righties start most of the wars and
we finish them as well! Remember that
might makes right! Be
creative in your game against a lefty as you would against a righty, and
attack their forehand side with drives, high/junk/Z lobs and high
percentage shots to that side of the court to keep them honest in their
coverage.
Myth: Lefties are
better than us because they get to play us more often, since we are in
the majority
Reality: Don’t buy
into the myth that lefties are better than righty players because they
play us more often than we play them, because righties are
in the majority. Return this myth to the Lefty Hardware Store and let
them know that you will play high percentage racquetball no matter what
hand your opponent holds the racquet in. Because the kitchen sink works
just as well against a Lefty’s skull as it would on a Righty’s skull.
